It has been found that in the case of software which contain large amounts of components- financial and accounting software are also included here – the actions taken to increase the level of reliability in the operational stage induces a high level of costs. This one is superior to the one that involves obtaining systems of software with an adequate reliability, before releasing them on the market and before using them. Before taking into account the material and financial aspects that involve obtaining the adequate reliability, we must consider the social effects that occur because of the lack of reliability of software. The conclusion is that, if we begin with the idea that a system of accounting software is a fitted and well structured ensemble of different component...

Two methods will be used: a quantitative one, determined by a multiple linear regression model, and a qualitative one that encumbers a sustainable vector model for generating economic growth. The data panel covers 36 states, for a period of 21 years. The paper manages to identify the main control functions that the stock exchange has over the macroeconomic context, through the quantitative and qualitative method, and to highlight the most important positive and negative attributes of using qualitative methods, in contrast to quantitative ones. The results show a predominant probabilistic characteristic of quantitative methods, in contrast to the flexibility and complexity of the qualitative method, which has been used. Additionally, the quantitative method offers a strictly cartesian perspective for determining future scenarios, while the sustain...

C... more This paper investigates the effects of social media on entrepreneurial opportunity recognition. Combining the internal and external approaches of opportunity recognition, the study analyzes how social media influences the entrepreneurs in discovering new entrepreneurial opportunities. Structural equation modeling was used in this study, using the variance-based partial least squares (PLS)–structural equation modeling (SEM), on a sample of 354 entrepreneurs. We concluded that social media directly and positively influences entrepreneurial opportunity recognition while entrepreneurial alertness (internal approach) and social networks (external approach) partially mediates its indirect effects on entrepreneurial opportunity recognition. The study contributes to the existing literature by bringing new insights into the entrepreneurial opportunity recognition process by focusing on a poorly represented factor in the literature, social media.

Business Intelligence does not produce data, but uses the data produced by the company’s applications. BI solutions extract their data from ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), HCM (Human Capital Management), and Retail, eCommerce or other databases used in the company.

There are a large number of languages that have been developed with different objectives, but they have all been used to describe business processes. Languages have studied different aspects of business processes (dynamic, functional, organizational, informational) and may be more or less formal, depending on the intended use and audience. There is no easy way to classify these languages along a single dimension. However, the languages fall into four groups, clearly defined scientifically or professionally: traditional process modeling languages, object-oriented languages, dynamic process modeling languages, and the integration of languages. Economic processes are generally very complex and, therefore, different points can be formulated about their modeling. Keywords:...

Any variation of CMMI, depending on the scope of application, can also be used to assess the process maturity of an organization. Regarding the Software Reliability Engineering (SRE) process, the activities in the SRE process have been briefly described, noting that the application of SRE in all software-based products leads to good control over the development process.

Increased e-accessibility is supported by a high level of ICT adoption in the enterprise. Thus, considering the implications of ICT in the digital economy, we analyze the effect of ICT adoption in enterprises on the level of their economic development. This is because, among the factors leading to the development of enterprise, technological progress is not the main solution but the degree and intensity of ICT adoption across the entire enterprise. Inability of enterprises to access and use ICT is the main factor generating electronic exclusion and promoting the digital divide.

Change of business climate has globally affected the important supporter of the GDP, SMEs. Romania's participation in digital economy allows increased electronic inclusion and minimizes the digital divide. Success in an emerging digital economy is given by increasing the spread of ICT, e-readiness and government measures to support technology development. E-readiness provides important information about Romania: the country's participation in digital economy, the level of use and generate knowledge, communication channels and accessibility of trade, the global competitiveness, the economic and social development. E-readiness, in the knowledge economy, affects the degree to which a country can absorb external know-how and generate knowledge, both social and entrepreneurial.

Cities have implemented traffic monitoring systems to sustain the new building code in meeting the target for environmental indicators. Timisoara is the second city in Romania and manages over 60% of the development and pollution of Timis County. The analysis of large volumes of data provided by local sensors and databases requires big data analytics. In this research, for the first time, we simultaneously developed two parallel scenario-based decision-making support models to assess a CO2 sequestration index. The model is based on a tree inventory for traffic area and car flow using Roegenian processes with borders. The first scenario (dt1) analyzes the real O2-pollution car flows for process streets as receivers of pollution. The second scenario (dt2) analyzes O2-pollution flows for the same streets from the perspective of streets that garage the cars. We modeled the parallel integration of actual ...
