Jarrod Hayes
I have a BA in Political Science (Magna Cum Laude) and astrophysics from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a PhD from the University of Southern California. My research interests are wide-ranging, including constructivism, global environmental politics, the role of identity in foreign and security policy, international security, arms control and strategy, and foreign policy analysis. I also have regional interests in East Asia, South Asia, and Europe. I have published or have articles forthcoming in the European Journal of International Relations, Global Environmental Politics, International Organization, International Studies Quarterly, and Security Studies. My book, Constructing National Security: US Relations with India and China was published by Cambridge University Press in 2013. From 2009-2010, I was the ConocoPhillips Assistant Professor of International Relations at the University of Oklahoma, a joint appointment in the School of International and Area Studies and the Department of Political Science. I am currently an Assistant Professor of International Relations at the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
