This descriptive study aims to examine the effect of visual social media marketing (VSMM) on customer purchase intentions of Jordanian real estate companies. The paper used electronic word-of-mouth (e-WOM) as a mediator and reliability as a moderator of the relationship between e-WOM and customers’ purchase intention. A conceptual model comprised VSMM dimensions (informative content, entertainment content, and remunerative content), which affect the purchase intention of customers, mediated by thee WOM construct. The construct of reliability moderated the link between e-WOM and purchase intention. Questionnaires were distributed through Google Forms to respondents selected by convenience sampling; as a result, 250 responses were received. PLS-SEM was used to analyze the data and test the hypotheses. The results confirmed a significant impact of VSMM and e-WOM on purchase i...

Via Google Scholar, we reviewed 81 English language articles published between 2000 and 2020 that examined training satisfaction. Seventeen reviews were included in the final analysis. Training satisfaction articles were identified. Some focused on specific training strategies, while others emphasized a more general approach with mixed strategies. We identified three themes for categorizing the reviewed articles: training satisfaction criteria, impacts of training satisfaction, and factors influencing training satisfaction. Findings revealed that training programs were effective if they met the trainees’ expectations. Some articles focus on Kirkpatrick's classic 4-level evaluation model for measuring training satisfaction. The unit of analysis for all reviews was individual, whi...

The study’s respondents comprised of 208 employers in Malaysia who responded through an online survey using Google Forms. The survey data was then analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM), indicating that soft skills positively affected the employers’ willingness to continue recruiting UMT graduates. Nevertheless, ethics and value were found to be insignificant factors on the employers’ willingness to continue recruiting UMT graduates. It was also revealed that knowledge had the moderating effect on the relationship between soft skills and the employers’ willingness to continue recruiting UMT graduates. Therefore...

Job satisfaction is related to customer satisfaction; however, there is a scarcity of empirical evidence regarding this link. The current piece of research examines the said relationship in the context of the online call center. In addition, this study investigates the effect of human resources (HR) practices on job satisfaction within the online call center context. The sample of the study consists of 275 employees who were working as an online call center. SMARTPLS 3 was used to analyze the data. The findings of the study indicated a positive relationship between HR practices with job satisfaction. Furthermore, a positive impact of job satisfaction on customer satisfaction is observed. The mediation of customer interaction quality is also found to be significant in the relationship between job satisfaction and customer satisfaction.

More recently electronic wallet (e-wallet) banking has been identified as an innovative mode of e-payment and enhances e-banking customer experience. Although e-wallet banking service is more secure, fast, convenient and cost effective, compared to conventional web-based banking, adoption of e-wallet application is limited among e-banking consumers. To address this issue, the current study has conceptualized task technology fit (TTF) model, diffusion of innovation (DOI) theory and protection motivation theory towards adoption of e-wallet service. Moreover, pandemic risk is studied as moderating factor between the relationship of e-wallet and use of e-wallet banking among banking consumers.Design/methodology/approachThe research design of this study is based on positivism research paradigm. This study is cross-sectional and used deductive level of theory to formulate ...

These logistics operations are exposed to risks during transportation, storage and handling, that negatively affect the halal supply chain’s operational efficiency and integrity. Therefore, the main purpose of this research is to propose a risk assessment framework for halal logistics. Design/methodology/approach Initially, the risks associated with halal logistics are identified through an extensive literature review, and then the significant ones are validated with the expert’s input. After that, an appropriate multicriteria decision-making method named best worst method (BWM) is used to prioritise the identified risks. Finally, the robustness of the obtained ranking is assessed with sensitivity analysis. Findings This research identifies 26 halal logistics risks and then categorises these risks into 6 significant dimensions and proposes a framework. The result obtained from...

Design/methodology/approach The research framework was developed based on the stimulus–organism–response model. Self-administered questionnaires were distributed using a purposive sampling method among Muslim students in three universities in Malaysia. A total of 501 usable data were collected and analysed using Smart partial least squares. Findings The analysis revealed that celebrity endorsement positively influences attitude and brand image. Meanwhile, brand image has a positive effect on attitude and continuance of use of non-halal certified cosmetics. Additionally, attitude has a positive effect on the continuance of use behaviour. Regarding predictive power enhancement, brand image and attitude were found to have a mediation effect and sequential mediation effect on the relationship between celebrity endorseme...
