A good amount of research in this field of Public Administration along with the political will to implement the same have led to successful management of the public resources and deliverance of the same to the welfare of public of the developed country, have started the impetus for developing countries to follow the same path. The international donor agencies have also performed a definite role in pressurizing the developing countries to follow the paths of NPM to carry out development. The main focus was to carry out a total reformation of public institutions and organizations along the same lines in which private sectors have modernized and managed themselves in order to carry out the functions of the government to better the overall performance of governance. However, the implementation of the new reforms has not been met with much success in these developing countries and researchers and public administrators have been much sceptical about the capability of these reforms. This paper gives a basic understanding of what is New Public Management or NPM and how they have been implemented so far in the context of developing countries. After this the paper has looked into the case of Bangladesh and its history of Public Administration and how after the implementation of the NPM model the landscape has changed.

Either they are the reflection of the society or they tend to change the accepted social order by displaying the truth. The Indian Film industry is a multimillion-dollar industry and produces the highest number of films each year in the world. There have been some very good films which upheld the need to purge the Indian society of patriarchy but the greatest number of the mainstream cinemas instilled the idea of the male toxic hegemony which has led to the escalation of crime against women. In this paper I’ve chosen Indian cinemas and primarily mainstream Bollywood because they have a great impact over our society. If one is born in India then Bollywood has crept in his/her life at least once. The objective of this paper is to examine the effect of Bollywood films on society from a feminist perspective. Keywords: Patriarchy, Objectification of women, commodification of women, traditions, Indian cinema, Bollywood.

After two weeks the Islamic religious leader Ayatollah Khomeini returns from exile and the Islamic Republic of Iran was proclaimed on 1 st April. With the US Embassy hostage crisis from 1979 to 1981 relations between Iran and US were severed permanently. The deterioration of the bilateral relations speeded up when in 1988 an Iranian passenger plane was shot down and also when President George Bush denounces Iran as part of the axis of evil along with Iraq and North Korea. The questionable use of Nuclear Energy by Iran and the role of US and UN in curbing Iran’s nuclear program posses a major concern for global nuclear proliferation.
