I studied Medieval History, Art History, Romance literature and language and a little bit Catholic Theology. Then already, my prime research project was the Order of the Knights Templar. I graduated with a thesis about the cult of city-saints in Southern France and their political implications in 2000. Since then, I'm working on a variety of topics (besides the Templars): reception of Ancient Egypt, media historiy, visual propaganda... and in 2008 I published my first novel.

Lokal photo studios produced slides and contributed to the collection of the Institute as well as publishers like Stoedtner. In the post-WW II period, more photographs from Foto Marburg could be bought, and the slide collection expanded exponentially. The University's photographer produced slides from books, postcards and photographs. The photo objects form a closely connected intermedia family that became a valuable ressource also for other universities.

This paper checks the records in their specific line of witnesses. It reveals that witnesses prosecuted on one specific day have similar answers, while the answers differ if one follows one person through the preceedings: one witness may say the same as the others questioned before him, but states other things when he is questioned another time.
