Traffic safety is one of the key factors that needs to be studies with special care in the selection of communication technologies. This paper analyzes the functioning of some in-car safety systems and discusses the future development trends. In the first part, the authors analyze the development trends of in-car safety systems and their impact on active and passive safety in road traffic. In the second part they present recent developments in communication technology implemented in road traffic systems. In addition to the existing communication technologies, they focus on the most advanced intelligent transportation systems (ITS) technologies, especially automatic tolling. The safety aspect of automatic tolling is analyzed with respect to the specific technological solutions of individual automatic tolling technologies.

Thus the accuracy and reliability of the record are upgraded, and the reading of expensive, impractical, and unreliable tachograph paper data cards (which connect the tachograph and the computer) is avoided. This recorder is discussed in terms of connections, operation (measurements, calculations, and storage), and instructions for use

Road and railway transition curves have again become the subject of important scientific research... more Road and railway transition curves have again become the subject of important scientific research and serious traffic engineering analyses because of high driving speeds and demands for automatic drive (i.e., car pilots). This article shows, in an original way, how to define or reconstruct the track of a vehicle when passing the elements of a continuous curve (straight lines, circles) so the track (curve) suits all requirements to which transition curves must be adapted. The praxis whereby a known mathematical curve (e.g., a cubic parabola, lemniscate, or chlotoid) was assumed as a transition curve and its suitability was analyzed has been passed over. On the basis of assumed kinematics models of the motion of a vehicle along joint alignment elements with a changing radius of curvature, the writers have analyzed different transition curves resulting in safe, comfortable, and economic driving. The curve resulting from a parabolic velocity chart of front wheel rotation during such movement which found the most suitable has been named POLUSA; a geometrical analysis of POLUSA has been performed and a manual for practical use completed.

In addition, a brief outline of the state-of-the-art and of the present situation in this domain in Slovenia are presented.

We compare company X's data with the data of the construction industry and carry out statistical analysis of the arithmetic mean of the assets (t-test). If the differences in data 2008/2012 between the construction company X and the construction industry are high, the internal auditor should take care of possible risks of frauds in accounting statements of the company. If the amount of construction industry's assets is not growing, the construction activity is not recovering and the risk for frauds is greater. The observation period is from 2008 to 2012. The findings of the research of balance sheet's assets help us to set up the steps in controlling activities using by the internal auditor to avoid frauds in balance sheet's assets. One of the main accounting statements of the company is the balance sheet. Developments in the construction industry affect future economy. It is very difficult to say that a company or activity recovers if the volume of assets of the construction industry is decreasing. It also means the financial crisis is still ongoing and the risks of frauds are greater. The management of the company X should have internal audits to prevent from frauds in accounting statements. Internal auditing consists of internal monitoring of different processes in the accounting system. We recommend to management of construction company X to introduce internal auditing and set up different organizational internal controls for preventing frauds in the accounting statement, for example to introduce responsibilities of employees in accounting or finance, to introduce IT control in accounting statements - to introduce the reporting of deviations of planned and realized data of financial statements, to initiate cross-checks in IT system.
