Itschert Adrian

Adrian Itschert studied sociology at the University of Munich and has been working as a research assistant at the Sociological Department of the University of Lucerne since autumn 2003. In 2009 he received his PhD in sociology. The dissertation was published by transcript under the title “Beyond the performance principle. Social inequality in a functionally differentiated society ”. His research topics are sociology of inequality, social theory, political sociology, historical sociology and the sociology of the mass media.
