Fion J Lau
I completed my MA in Irish Studies at the National University of Ireland, Galway (2014) after having completed a BA and AA in English at the University of California, Berkeley (2012) and at City College of San Francisco (2010), respectively.
My experience has largely been in education and academia; I have done a lot of informal tutoring throughout my entire career as a student, have been an assistant to two secondary school English teachers, and worked at the Academic Writing Centre in the James Hardiman Library at NUI Galway.
Additionally, I have some familiarity with and a particular interest in the theatre world in Ireland (particularly in Dublin and Galway), as I studied Irish theatre in Dublin in the summer of 2012 and was an intern at a Dublin-based theatre company in the summer of 2013.
You can find further professional information on LinkedIn (see below), and the easiest way to contact me would be via messages here or via Twitter.
Feel free to get in touch! I'm always happy to have a chat.
