Podaci dobiveni na prigodnom uzorku vozaca ukazuju da se skalom može zahvatiti pet stilova vožnje: strpljivi i pažljivi, anksiozni, disocijativni, ljutiti i rizicni.

Dosadasnja su istraživanja pokazala da utjecaj fizicke atraktivnosti u procesu zaposljavanja ovisi, između ostaloga, o dva faktora koja su vezana za vrstu posla: 1) da li se radi o tradicionalno muskom/ženskom poslu i 2) da li je za konkretan posao važna fizicka atraktivnost. Stoga su na osnovi procjena dobivenih predispitivanjem odabrana dva spolno neutralna radna mjesta, odnosno dva posla koji jednako obavljaju muskarci i žene (kontrola ne-konguentnosti spola kandidata i preferiranog spola za neki posao), pri cemu je za jedno radno mjesto važan (tv-voditelj/ica), a za drugo radno mjesto nije važan fizicki izgled (profesor(ica matematike). Results of previous studies suggest that cardiac activity parameters during sleep are probably mu... more Results of previous studies suggest that cardiac activity parameters during sleep are probably much less influenced by differences in work and leisure time activities. Therefore, they might be better indicators of disturbances of the circadian physiological rhythm in shift workers, than the same parameters during the day. The aim of this study was to compare changes in heart rate variability (HRV) during sleep after a morning shift and a afternoon shift. Ten middle-aged nurses participated in this study, whose cardiac R-R intervals were continuously recorded for 24 hours for two days, which included the morning and afternoon shift. The shifts were rotated in a backward direction: two nights – two afternoons – two mornings – two days off. Namely, the interaction of spouses’ perceptions was taken into account (actor and partner effects) in predicting work-to-family and family-to-work conflicts. This study was conducted on a sample of 176 employed married couples in the territory of central and western Herzegovina and central Dalmatia. Self-assessment questionnaires were used. In women, social support from family was a significant predictor for both examined types of work–family conflicts, and partner effects were greater than actor effects, especially for family-to-work conflict. Both partners’ striving for achievement was a positive predictor of family-to-work conflict in women, while there was only a contribution of the actor striving for ...
Cilj ovog ispitivanja bio je utvrditi utječe li fizička atraktivnost kandidata na procjenu njihov... more Cilj ovog ispitivanja bio je utvrditi utječe li fizička atraktivnost kandidata na procjenu njihove poslovne poželjnosti i to uzimajući u obzir spol kandidata, vrstu posla, u smislu (ne)važnosti tjelesne atraktivnosti za uspješnost na tom poslu, te spol onoga tko vrednuje potencijalne kandidate. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 135 ispitanika, studenata i maturanata, od čega 84 žene i 51 muškarac u dobi od 18 do 27 godina. Prije provođenja glavnog dijela ispitivanja provedeno je predispitivanje s ciljem odabira kandidata i kandidatkinja različite razine atraktivnosti i dva spolno neutralna posla (jedan za čije je uspješno obavljanje bitan tjelesni izgled – tv-voditelj i jedan za koji tjelesni izgled nije bitan – profesor matematike). Rezultati upućuju na to da odnos tjelesne atraktivnosti i poslovne poželjnosti nije tako jednostavan, odnosno treba ga gledati u kontekstu faktora vrste posla i spola kandidata. The aim of this research was to determine the salience of work and family roles and to study the ... more The aim of this research was to determine the salience of work and family roles and to study the connection between role salience and the interference of different types of roles among working men and women. Self-assessment measurement scales were applied. The research involved 206 participants; 103 employed married couples from different regions of Croatia. The results show that roles closely connected to family are considered the most salient. However, men are mostly dedicated behaviourally to the role of a worker. Women dedicate more time and energy to the roles of a spouse, a parent, and a family member whereas men are more oriented towards the leisurite role. The highest level of conflict was perceived when it comes to work disturbing leisure. Gender differences appeared only for work-to-marriage conflict, with men reporting higher conflict than women. The research found proof of only some low correlations between the salience of different types of roles and work-family conflict.
