Content adaptation for multiplatform applications

Published: 05 October 2009 Publication History

Abstract

The increasing usage of heterogeneous devices in our ordinary activities has forced current applications to adapt their data visualization according to context information, such as the device itself or even user preferences. Our proposal is a generic service that performs content adaptation for multiplatform applications. This service aims to be modular and non-instrusive. In other words, the content adaptation logic is considered a crosscutting concern according to the Aspect Oriented Paradigm. This paper presents the service architecture, a case study and its results.
