Towards the Increasing Usage of IPv6 & Its Implication: A Literature Review

Published: 30 August 2024 Publication History

Abstract

A An overview of IPv6 implementation's present state and potential future paths is given in this abstract. This paper examines the current efforts being made to adopt IPv6 as the globe struggles with the run-out of IPv4 addresses. The study broadly discusses the main features of IPv6. This familiarizes us with the IPv6 /routing Protocols, as well as those that already supports IPv6, in terms of ISPs, cloud, browsers, and mailing protocols. This discusses the advantages of IPv6 in the aspect of gaming, speed, and security. This includes an outlook on the future of networking protocols as well as the difficulties encountered during implementation. Come along as we dissect IPv6 installation, a critical step in guaranteeing the sustainability and scalability of international communication networks.
