In this article we deal with treatment, use and valuation of lexical incorporations from different European languages in Buenos Aires Spanish. We deal in particular, in spoken and written language, with matters regarding to the conventionalization and alternation in use and to the configurations’ location on the adaptation scale, showing that some of the forecasts related to the period and way of entry of loanwords, that in such sense can be done, are not necessarily verified. We also analyze the marked uses that obey a divergent intention, which is registered for loanwords with diverse origins and diffusion ways too, and the guiding attitudes that underlie to the uses. Finally, we analyze the same matters in relation to non hispanic surnames (particularly frequent in the region as a consequence of immigratory afflux), regarded as a special case of incorporation in which, on the one hand, use is obligatory and, on the other hand, fixation in writing is constant (because of legal requirements). the observations that are common to distinct incorporations constitute the article’s principal contributions.Fil: Hipperdinger, Yolanda Haydee.
