The objective of this research was to identify colour and size of sticky trap as well as the prop... more The objective of this research was to identify colour and size of sticky trap as well as the proper time to trap winged imago of Aphis gossypii Glover. The experiment was arranged in a factorial completely randomized design (FCRD) consisted of 2 treatments and 12 replications. First treatment was size of sticky trap (2 levels) and the second treatment was colour of sticky trap (5 levels). The 5 colours of the sticky traps were yellow, orange, green, blue and red. Sizes of the sticky trap were large size (2.480 cm 2) and small size (610 cm 2). The results showed that trap colour, trap size, and their interaction significantly affected the result trapped winged imagoes of A. gossypii. Time of trapping also significantly affected the result. Yellow was the most preferred colour by the aphid A. gossypii compared to other colours. The least preferred colours were red and blue. The big sticky trap could catch more winged A. gossypii imagoes than the small trap. Evening trapping could catch more winged A. gossypii imagoes compared to that of morning trapping. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui warna-warna, ukuran dan waktu dalam memerangkap imago kutudaun Aphis gossypii Glover bersayap. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial (RALF) yang terdiri dari 2 ukuran dan 5 perlakuan warna masing-masing kombinasi perlakuan diulang 12 kali. Warna sticky traps yang digunakan ialah warna kuning, orange, hijau, biru dan merah. Ukuran sticky traps yang digunakan ialah ukuran besar luasnya 2.480 cm 2 dan ukuran kecil luasnya 610 cm 2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa warna, ukuran dan variasi keduanya serta waktu pengamatan berpengaruh nyata dalam menangkap imago kutudaun A. gossypii. Warna kuning merupakan warna yang paling disukai kutudaun A. gossypii diantara warna-warna yang lain. Warna yang paling tidak disukai oleh kutudaun ialah warna merah dan biru.
