This project offers the development of a menswear collection, using production techniques applied... more This project offers the development of a menswear collection, using production techniques applied in tailoring and ergonomic modeling. The aim set for the project is to create a fashion collection for the music industry, using fashion as a favorable tool in the costume during the artist's performance. To corroborate it, field and public studies were carried out during concerts of a few specific artists - recurring environment and personal passion of the author. Considering this, a hybrid production methodology was developed, composed by the authors Bonsiepe (1984), Choklat (2012), Jones (2005) and Treptow (2003), adapting the production steps of their work in an appropriate way to the demands of the collection. Thus, according to the needs in research with the public, market analyzes were carried out to deepen the valuable characteristics and sensory experience. Right after, topics as the theme of the collection, palettes, and alternatives were defined. Using ergonomic modeling studies, the clothing pieces were made, achieving the base objective of the collection: sensorial comfort. Along with the inspiration, the final designs and the aesthetic of the collection were created, and, now conceived, the collection owns ergonomic menswear looks with aesthetic appeal and visual identity.
