Morphometric analysis is one of the important study in the natural sciences in general, and geomo... more Morphometric analysis is one of the important study in the natural sciences in general, and geomorphology and hydrology in particular, to describe the nature of surface drainage networks. The study area lies in north of Iraq, in Al-sulaymaniya province. With an area of (1545.1) Km². And the geographic coordinates of the study area is (35°.28`-35°.52` N). (45°.20`-46°.24` E). DEM image were used with (90 m) resolution and the drawing tools in ARC GIS program to delineate the total basin of the study area and watersheds. We conclude that there were 3 main watersheds in the study area and that group of parameters were calculated such as (linear, areal and relief properties)). The study shows that the stream density was (1.77) Km/Km 2 which mean that the study area has a bad discharge of water and sediments, the elongation in the study area is (0.55) and that mean the study area is closer to a rectangular shape, and the relief in the study area is (25.1) m/Km and it reflects that the study area had rich effects of erosion and weathering.

With its different dimensions, which are related to the geographical disciplines in general and the natural geography in particular, this study came to shed light on this technique and its applications in support of natural geographic studies and to reinforce what can be reached in terms of results or wills to make decisions about the various problems facing societies, the environment and spatial planning, and the study aims to Explanation of this technology and its most prominent applications used in natural geographic studies and the means to achieve this. The study dealt with clarifying this technology, how to obtain it and its technical uses, as well as technical applications and data processing using appropriate programs, most notably the ArcGIS program to be a clear action plan for researchers to invest this technology and its applications to harness Natural geographical studies of community service.

geomorphological forms in the west of Al- An... more El-Imchaimin Depression is One of the most prominent geomorphological forms in the west of Al- Anbar province, This study aims to showing the morphology of Depression because it is important in determining how to benefit from Depression, Because it is located in a desert region suffering from drought, Several approaches were used in this study to achieve the greatest benefit in interpreting and analyzing the characteristics of depression such as descriptive, quantitative and analytical methods, Geological ratga formation in the study area, which is mostly composed of exposed carbonate rocks on the surface, In addition to the quaternary sediments, the climate of the study area is hot and dry and has desert climate characteristics, It has a circular shape with an area of about 5.72 km². Its longest diameter is about 2.9 km in the north-south direction. Its shortest diameter is about 2.5 km in the east-west direction. Its depth ranges between 28-38 km. Measured from the northern and southern edges respectively, the highest rise in Depression at the southern edges was about (862 m) above sea level, while the lowest rise in the bottom of Depression (820 m) above sea level, The cause of Depression is due to the impact of the karst, which led to the collapse of Depression ceiling on the bottom.
