Rachel Xian is an international economics, conflict management, and China studies M.A. graduate from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Her research interests range from psychological theories of international cooperation to nuclear and cyber technology in China. Rachel’s most recent work “China’s Nuclear Forces: Modernization Initiatives and Stabilizing Policy Options” will be published by SAIS China Studies Review summer 2018. A Toronto native, she currently resides in Baltimore, MD with a secondary home on the MARC train to and from D.C.
