Imrana Seemi

Imrana Seemi was born in Peshawar, Pakistan, in 1965. She received the Master Degree in Art and Design from College of Home Economics, University of Peshawar and Ph.D degree in Art and Architecture from University of Peshawar. In 1991, she joined the College of Home Economics, University of Peshawar as Lecturer and in 2009 became Assistant professor. In 2012-13 she was appointed as the first Principle of College of Home Sciences University of Swat for a period of one year on Deputation.  Her current research interests include Architecture and Interior, Ceramics, Textile Designing, Graphic Designing, Art Education, Drawing and painting.Dr. Imrana Seemi is member of Different committees, Renovation of Convocation Hall University of Peshawar, Organizer for the Arrangement and Decoration of Convocation Hall U.O.P. for convocation, subject Specialist in Curriculum Revision Program of Home Economics Course in Higher Education Wing Islamabad, Member of Course Designing Committee for Development of “Diploma Course of women Development” for Frontier Women University Peshawar, Development of Class 6th Course of Home Economics for Textbook Board Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, member of the Academic Committee of National Testing Service Pakistan from 2010 till date, member of the Review and Test Development Committee of National Testing Service Pakistan from 2010 till date, convener BS. Committee Home Sciences University of Swat, member Stage Designing Committee University of Swat, member Board of Studies Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, member of NAVTTC from 2016, Coordinator BS. Programme at College of Home Economics. She has published papers in reputed journals.
