Dans les pays du Proche-Orient ancien, la divination était pratiquée sous plusieurs formes. Que ce fusse pour lire les présages envoyés par les astres, recevoir un message par les songes ou par l'haruspice ; l'humain a toujours eu besoin d'obtenir une réponse de la part du divin. Nous avons pu obtenir des traces de ces pratiques par les tablettes d'argile qui ont survécues des siècles pour se rendre jusqu'à nous. Sachant qu'il était courant autant en Mésopotamie qu'en Égypte, d'utiliser ces pratiques, on ne saurait être surpris qu'en territoire ancien d'Israël les pratiques aient été similaires. En effet certains chercheurs savent aujourd'hui que les pratiques «magiques» étaient bien ancrées dans la culture de ces anciens peuples, à l'image de leurs voisins, notamment avec la pratique de l'extipicine, la cléromancie, la nécromancie et la prophétie1. De ce fait, on retrouve donc dans l'Ancien Testament de nombreux passages indiquant la présence de ce type de pratiques malgré les textes qui en dénoncent aussi l'utilisation. Comme ce travail ne saurait prétendre étudier l'ensemble de la divination présente dans les textes bibliques, nous étudierons le cas des pratiques chez les femmes. Effectivement, il est intéressant de constater que, dans la littérature biblique, beaucoup de femmes sont dépeintes comme ayant accès au savoir divin sous plusieurs formes2 On retrouve des prophétesses telles Myriam (Mi 6 :4), Deborah (Jg 4 :4), Noadya (Ne 6 :14) et Houlda (2 R 22) et des femmes mystérieuses sans noms telle la sage de Tekoa (2 S 14)

Ce fut la religion principale en Iran jusqu'à l'invasion musulmane autour de l'an 635. Bien qu'au début leur religion était tolérée par le nouveau gouvernement islamique, les discriminations ne tardèrent pas à venir et pour acheter la paix plusieurs Iraniens durent se convertir. C'est ainsi qu'un groupe qui tenait à sa religion d'origine ont décidés de rester au sein de leur terres avec les envahisseurs, devenant un peuple de second rang et un des moins éduqués de la perse au fil des siècles, et ce, jusqu'au 14e siècle1. Une autre branche de zoroastriens, dénombré à quelques milliers de personnes, prirent la fuite en Inde au 8ième siècle et devinrent les Parsis. Notre sujet de recherche s'intéresse donc aux Iraniens restés en territoire

La Perse a été un empire qui a influencé le monde par sa riche culture, son art et son savoir-fai... more La Perse a été un empire qui a influencé le monde par sa riche culture, son art et son savoir-faire. Tout comme la plupart des pays du Proche et du Moyen-Orient, ce territoire a toujours été le témoin de plusieurs sources de conflits et de guerres. Lorsque le territoire de l'empire fut à son plus grand sous les Achéménides, il tomba sous Alexandre le grand. Connaissant plusieurs successeurs au fil des siècles, la Perse est réunifiée sous les Sassanides en 224. Alors à son âge d'or avec une culture rayonnante de part le monde, l'empire ne s'attend pas à ce qui arrivera quelques siècles plus tard, la conquête musulmane de 632. Ce travail a pour but de présenter les conflits géopolitiques et religieux au moment de la conquête Arabe musulmane en Perse Sassanide et nous tenterons de découvrir si la conversion des zoroastriens à l'Islam s'est faite de façon violente ou paisible. Pour ce faire, nous présenterons tout d'abord un bref historique de la conquête Arabe ainsi que son impact sur la religion du peuple Perse et finalement nous terminerons avec un bref survol des interactions religieuses au sein de L'Iran ancien et actuel. L'empire des Sassanides s'est établi en l'an 224 avec Ardéchir Ier, fils de Pâpak. Tous deux se disent descendants d'un légendaire roi nommé Sassan. Après avoir conquis plusieurs villes voisines de la sienne et défait le roi Artaban V, il se retrouve souverain d'un puissant royaume
