The dismantling operations carried out by Danish architect Egil Fischer, in order to reconstruct the most unique elements of the Palace in a new building in Denmark, included an extensive photographic report of the most relevant pieces as well as a rigorous graphic surveying, carried out, mainly by the architecture student Vilhelm Lauritzen. With this graphic documentation as a starting point, a 3D graphic restitution work of some of its pieces has been carried out with the aim of being able to visualize and understand these architectural elements of complex shapes. This 3D modelling has allowed manufacturing 3D scale models of the pieces that allow not only a visual perception, but also a tactile perception of the pieces, helping their comprehension and enjoyment by people with absence or difficulties of visual perception.

In this regard, the tangible graphic expression, through tangible or relief graphics, is exposed to the receptor through the sense of touch, often through a combination of visual and tactile elements which allow everyone access to the graphic information via different perceptual modes, opening its boundaries beyond the visual domain. Thus, people with visual impairment can access to this type of graphical information by haptic and visual exploration, if they also possess the ability to see. The article presented here aims to show some basics about these sort of graphics that require a double interpretation: the visual and the tactile reading. Through the characterization of the most important aspects of the tactile perception, of the people with visual impairment and the diffe...

From these, a consumer-grade option that has gained popularity are the drones or unmanned aerial vehicles, namely quadrotors. Although until recently they have not been used for commercial applications, their inherent potential for a number of tasks where small and intelligent devices are needed is huge. However, although the integrated hardware has advanced exponentially, the refinement of software used for these applications has not beet yet exploited enough. Recently, this shift is visible in the improvement of common tasks in the field of robotics, such as object tracking or autonomous navigation. Moreover, these challenges can become bigger when taking into account the dynamic nature of the real world, where the insight about the current environment is constantly changin...

The application of these systems and equipment has made it possible to graphically document a number of buildings with a certain degree of thoroughness and precision, while optimising the available resources and the time required for data collection. At the same time, the need for auxiliary devices has been reduced and reliable results have been obtained at a lower cost. Once the necessary graphic documentation has been obtained, it can been used to construct a reverse architectural model, and digital methods will then be implemented in order to apply the structural criteria of the era in which the building was constructed. This entire process will be carried out by means of graphic methods, or what is known as graphical static...

After numerous complaints, the Palace was declared a National Monument in 1920 and the exportation of its pieces was suspended. In 1932, due to heavy rain, a part of the Palace collapsed. The Spanish Civil War increased the deterioration of the Palace, and after some attempts to retrieve it, the remains of the Palace were demolished in the 1950s, and all traces of this large building disappeared with them. Thanks to the graphic documentation carried out by Danish architects, today we are able to know and study this Palace of great cultural and patrimonial interest, which has now almost completely disappeared. The work carried out by these archi...

In addition, the new technologies of additive printing and three-dimensional digital representations has made architectural heritage more accessible to the general public. The main objective of this study was to conduct an analysis of each of the methods, to determine their advantages and disadvantages, as well as to carry out a comparative study of the results obtained with each of them.

Yet, the implementation of new graphical documentation systems, such as Automated Digital Photogrammetry, has introduced a fresh approach to dealing with architectural surveys by making them more accessible to the general public and, to a certain extent, increasing their usability (Garfella, Máñez, Cabeza, & Soler, 2014). The present study aims, on the one hand, to offer an overview of architectural survey systems and, on the other hand, to evaluate the differences in the degree of precision or accuracy between the latest state-of-theart methods and the already well-established ones. This will enable us to examine the results obtained in this experiment to look for concordances and discrepancies between them that can be helpful when using such systems to deal with tasks in the future.
