Data were collected from an online survey of 389 respondents. The results exhibited that the perceived benefits, particularly perceived cost-effectiveness and perceived communication effectiveness, had a substantial positive influence on the adoption of sustainable digital technologies adoption compared to perceived usefulness and ease of use. The leader’s attitude fully mediates the association between perceived benefits and digital sustainable technologies adoption. This study has contributed to the rising body of knowledge relevant to adopting sustainable digital technologies in SMEs. It offers strategies to develop management skills and strong competencies in sustainable digital technologies solutions.

E-haling service is one of the emerging business and growing rapidly in Malaysia. However, majority of the Malaysian, specifically, generation X prefer to hail taxis by the street. Compared to baby boomers generation, generation X are more educated and have higher disposable income. The purpose of this study is to examine the antecedents of intention to adopt e-hailing by proposing a framework grounded from several theories. Consumers’ perception and mobile technology acceptability are issues in the acceptance towards E-hailing application. In technological acceptance and behaviour paradigm, this study raises several issues that are the possibility of Technological Acceptance Model (TAM) and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) could be well-explained in the context of e-haling service. The proposed research model is expected to contribute to an understanding for scholar, marketers, policy makers, and practitioners on how the generation X formulate their intention to use E-haling application. To the knowledge of researcher, this is the first study that integrate TAM and TPB theory. The focus of the level of specificity of constructs measured in this particular study setting adds a contribution to literature and having a more inclusive view in E-hailing service highlighting the conceptual value of this study. A better understanding of antecedents of Generation X’s intention to adopt e-hailing application is essential for E-hailing providers to improve the E-hailing application in order to increase its usage. This paper concludes with recommendations for future research in alternative contexts

To minimize the supply chain disruption which had caused high supply chain costs in hypermarket, the objectives of this study, firstly is to identify the factors that influences the supply chain cost vulnerability, secondly to identify the resilient strategies to sustain the long-term profitability and finally to determine the exact mitigation and resilient strategies of cost reduction in hypermarket retailer. A quantitative approach employed in order to obtain the data through survey from 143 outlets involving hypermarket retailers. The result revealed a significant correlation between knowledge and supply chain risk to improve the performance and sustainability hypermarket retail business. However, the other two variables, forecasting and procurement...

The relationships proposed in the developed conceptual framework were represented through three hypotheses: there is a significant relationship between green initiatives and environmental sustainability (H1); intention toward green mediates the relationship between green initiatives and environmental sustainability (H2); and green technology adoption moderates the relationship between intention toward green and environmental sustainability (H3). SEM-AMOS nested model comparisons and mediating and moderating analyses were used to test the hyp...

In this sense, green concern has been gaining space in organizational theory and practice. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between SME owners/managers environmental awareness and ecological value, as well as their actions relating to sustainable green practices. The study applies TRIZ methodology to ascertain improving and worsening parameters for SME owners/managers environmental awareness and ecological values. The findings of the study are of two-folded: First, the study is able to identify the improving and worsening parameters of sustainable green practices and second, the study has identified three strategies for improving sustainable green practices in SMEs.

Despite decades of research, the motivations that drive managers to engage in sustainable green practices remained uncertain. This study examines the degree to which value-belief-norm framework in explaining engagement in sustainable green practices. The data for this study was collected from 260 manufacturing SMEs and was analyzed by employing Structural Equation Modelling. The results indicated that environmental beliefs have a significant positive effect on SME's sustainable green practices, but these effects have not been demonstrated by environmental norms and environmental values. In view of these results, the findings have both policy and education implications as it is believed that a behaviour which encourages manufacturing SMEs to adopt green practices with respect to environmental concerns.

Consumers and retailers return product to manufacturers due to a variety of reasons: the product does not meet customer expectation, the product is defective or there is excess inventory, among others. Therefore manufacturers need to handle the returned product in an effective way to improve customer’s relationship and decrease its associated costs. Manufacturing firms however often focused on forward logistics and as a result, they tend to overlook at the importance of reverse logistics activities. From the manufacturers’ point of view to handle the environmental aspects of the enterprise activities, in terms of production and distribution, reverse logistics is an important tool.
