Greg Suttor

Greg Suttor is a semi-retired policy and research consultant on affordable housing. He has 30+ years’ experience as a researcher and policy advisor, at municipal and provincial governments, Wellesley Institute, and as an independent consultant. He has a PhD and is the author of numerous research and policy reports, and ‘Still Renovating: A History of Canadian Social Housing Policy’.
In 2023-2025 he has co-authored a couple of consulting reports, had an article accepted for publication, and has been writing chapters for the new Oxford Handbook of Social Policy in Canada and a proposed book on Canadian provincial housing policies, also co-editing the latter.
