Process philosopher who integrates knowledge from a wide range of fields: biology, psychology, consciousness, wisdom tradition, cybernetics, to name a few. I have done some extensve literature research and am interested in Arthur Young's sevenfold stages/influences to model developmental processes. Stafford Beer is one of my heroes too. This dilemma of how to preserve some notion of substance can be easily solved however.
Energy and matter are interchangeable
The ancient four Elements: Fire, Air, Water, Earth as processes of energy/forcefields
Two fundamentally opposite views on life, materialistic versus spiritual belief systems, are discussed as an introduction to chapter two of my book "Rediscovering Transcendence".

An appendix is added for those who are curious and have some intuition of deeper principles lying behind manifestation. Some key axioms are formulated that may change our worldview, from a mechanistic one to a Gestalt view.
Taylor gives a nice summary of some key tenets of the universal philosophy of ancient civilization, notably MiddleEastern and Greek. Those civilizations recognized the universe as an organism that is alive.
They acknowledged The One principle of principles, out of which arises several successive orders of being. These are six in total, as is beautifully outlined in the student edition "Beyond the Shadows", published by Prometheus Trust, an organization that is dedicated
to promulgating the translations of Thomas Taylor of the famous Greek and NeoPlatonic authors of old.
The "six causes", mentioned by Proclus in his writings, are also elucidated in the above booklet. Being an important refinement of Aristotle's four causes, these give enough food for thought to ground a whole new science that is truly holistic in scope and intent!
The knowledge and insights expressed by Proclus cannot be overestimated. When digested properly, it can help reorient our perplexed civilization, so out of touch with nature and deeper feelings, to the Spirit within each of us, and, give help to the lost ones.
Without the guiding Light of Reason, or, true understanding, the world may very well spiral to selfdestruction, caused by wrong beliefs, economic overexploitation, materialistic philosophy, etc.

Je recommanderais une étude approfondie de ce sujet à tous les chercheurs en orphisme, platonisme, christianisme et islam (Soufisme), ainsi que les religions et philosophies orientales.
As to the true meaning of Armageddon (spoiler): it pertains to the subjugation of the lower elements in the human psyche, the transformation of the animal human being to the spiritual human being.
In the Apocalypse, Harmagedon, or Armageddon, forms an integral part of the initiation of Ioannes. In the Muslim religion, this struggle is known as “The Great Jihad”!
This transformation (resulting from following the path of initiation) was the central goal of the Mysteries in all religions.
This book, together with that of G.R.S.'Mead book "Orpheus" should be obligatory reading for any theologian, since it helps restore the original message behind the New Testament which copied so much of the Mystery School language, in a disfigured, often literal way.
Rather than the ramblings of an exalted seer, The Revelations pertains to the initiation of the individual, named Ioannes (“John”), symbolical for what each of us can accomplish . Pryse's use and knowledge of Greek gematria is impressive!

There are many themes in common with the theosophical neo-platonic tradition of Ammonius Saccas, Plotinus, Porphyry, Iamblichus and Proclus, as well as with the Kabbalistic tradition. Hierarchies, the emanation (generation) of Cosmos, angelic kingdoms, trinities, signatura, ideation, duality, transformation can all be found with Boehme, as with the other traditions. Keep in mind that Jacob Boehme uses a very veiled style of writing. He had to do that, in order to survive the narrow-minded world of the fundamentalist Christians, at war with each other at that time.
He certainly acknowledged the idea of the Christ potency within the human being (indeed, the New Testament refers to this too), a transformation and realization possible for those oriented to the right way of life.

Included with it is a long introduction by George W. Allen, which is helpful in understanding some of Boehme's terminology. An elaborate alphabetical list of topics, with an indication of chapter and verse where these are discussed, can be found near the end of the book.

The ancient symbolism of the Cross had at many different meanings or interpretations. G.R.S Mead deals with some of these, namely cosmogenesis, the principle of separation and limit, the principle of participation, the origin of opposites, and much more.
The connection of the Cross symbol and the Kaballistic Tree of life seems to be well known among esotericists, even today. We find this connection displayed in emblems of the various Hermetic/Golden Dawn related societies.
Finally, the symbolism of the hanged man on the cross (or tree) is discussed. There is a fundamental difference between hanging head down or head up. The former denotes being under the sway of procreation, while the latter denotes one having integrated the male and female energies into a whole.
(Voir figure dans ledit document, intitulée : « Unpacking the activity and rest polarity » ).
In this article I have constrained myself to deal with some polarities that have to do with the mental states and character properties of the individual person. The identification or recognition of a polarity, its poles and the swinging between these poles by the effect of forces at work through the human mind is of vital importance for each one of us. Learning to keep a balance between these forces forms an important part of life's lessons for each of us, and society at large.
'Simon speaks of the Logos of this Universe and calls it Fire (πυρ). This is the Universal Principle or Beginning (των ολων αρχη), or Universal Rootage (ριζωμα των ολων). But this Fire is not the fire of earth; it is Divine Light and Life and Mind, the Perfect Intellectual (το τελειον νοερον). It is the One Power, "generating itself, increasing itself, seeking itself, finding itself, its own mother, its own father, its sister, its spouse: the daughter, son, mother, and father of itself; One, the Universal Root." It is That, "which has neither beginning nor end, existing in oneness." "Producing itself by itself, it manifested to itself its own Thought (επινοια)."'
The second part of this document describes “the teachings of Simon with regard to the Lesser World, the Microcosm, Man, and to the scheme of his soteriology.”
In other words, the ascent of the (corrupted) human being to the spiritual worlds, or the cleansing of the human being of vile thoughts.
Comment fonctionne la réflexion ? Que sont les pensées ? Comment pouvons-nous utiliser au mieux le pouvoir de la pensée ? Comment pouvons-nous apprendre de nouvelles habitudes ? Ce type de questions est discuté.
