Langkah awal yang perlu dilakukan adalah melakukan eksplorasi dan identifikasi jenis-jenis pohon yang ada di kawasan ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menduga hubungan filogenetik antar spesies pohon yang hidup di Hutan Rawa Gambut Tripa dengan penanda gen nukleus (ITS 1, 5.8S rRNA, dan ITS 2). Penelitian dilaksanakan di tiga laboratorium yaitu Laboratorium Biologi Sel dan Molekuler FMIPA Universitas Syiah Kuala, Laboratorium Genetika dan Bioteknologi Molekuler, Sekolah Ilmu dan Teknologi Hayati (SITH), ITB, dan Laboratorium Genetika Hutan dan Kehutanan Molekuler, Fakultas Kehutanan, IPB dari bulan Juni 2015 sampai dengan Desember 2016. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan eksperimental laboratory yang terdiri atas ekstraksi DNA, PCR, dan sekuensing pada 25 spesies pohon. Analisis data menggunakan program BioEdit, Clustal X, Mega 6 dan BLAST. Hasil identifikasi morfologi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 25 jenis pohon yang hidup di Hutan Rawa Gambut Tripa. Hasil PCR menunjukkan bahwa primer ITS 1 dan ITS 4 berhasil mengamplifikasi 24 spesies pohon. Hasil analisis BLAST menunjukkan adanya 6 spesies yang memiliki kemiripan urutan basa dengan sekuen yang tersimpan di GeneBank DNA Database yaitu Branckenridgea palustris, Gonystylus sp., Macaranga triloba, Syzygium garciniifolium, Syzygium sp. 1, dan Tristaniopsis whiteana. Rekonstruksi pohon filogeni dengan Metode Neighbor-Joining (NJ) bootstrap 1000X menunjukkan bahwa multilocus (ITS 1, 5.8S rRNA, dan ITS 2) berhasil menjadi penanda bagi familia Myrtaceae dan Apocynaceae.

The development of renewable energy sources continues in the ASEAN region to meet the ASEAN energ... more The development of renewable energy sources continues in the ASEAN region to meet the ASEAN energy mix target of 23% in 2025 and 31% in 2050. This is to meet the region's estimated 50% increase in energy demand. Renewable energy development projects in the ASEAN region have a beneficial effect on the ASEAN community's social life. This research is a review of the literature, examining journals on the socioeconomic benefits of NRE development through the lens of ASEAN member countries. Several conclusions can be drawn from the analysis's findings, including the following: (1) this renewable energy project can alleviate poverty by involving community members in utilizing natural resources to build power plants; (2) the creation of new jobs; (3) gross domestic product (GDP) is projected to increase by 2.5 percent in 2050; (4) the establishment of gender equality for women in the use of energy for regional development; and (5) an increase in education and scholastic achievem...

Government policy on energy conservation is an effort to maintain the stability of energy security that affects the economic development of a country. Southeast Asia is experiencing rapid economic growth and development, combined with population growth and urbanization, as well as increased access to basic services. This study aimed to determine the seven key factors considered that shape energy in Southeast Asia. Based on the panel data model, it showed that energy demand in the ASEAN region greatly influences GDP per capita; demographics and urbanization; air quality, climate risk, and environmental degradation; energy accessibility, affordability, and security; investment and financial ; as well as energy policies, prices, and regulations.

The research is aimed to study the effect chitosan concentration and storage time for Total Plate Count (TPC). The study was conducted in Laboratory of Microbiology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Syiah Kuala University from April to August 2012. The research method was laboratory experimental. The data was analyzed by Randomized Completely Design with two factorial. The first factor was chitosan concentration (three levels: 0%; 1%; 2%) while the second factor was storage time (four levels: 0; 2; 4; 8 weeks).
