Musicologist and composer, graduate from University of Warsaw. My main research interests are music in the Soviet Union, the practice of music-making and the connections between music, music theory and religious activities. Currently working on Boleslav's Yavorsky's lādovy rhythm theory and devoted to music of Soviet-era composers of Poland, Ukraine and Russia. I composed a number of pieces, among others: cantata-ballet "Damoiselle", opera "The Wedding Night", "Trois Sonnets" for piano and "12 Preludes" for clarinet and piano. Supervisors: Szymon Paczkowski
