This naturally pushes the curiosity of every person to think on the efficiency of those international mechanisms put in place by the UN Security Council (SC) in Africa. It is clear that the presence of MINUSCA and MINUSMA is not able until now to give entirely to Central-African and Malian citizens a refuge to asymmetric threats which multiply in their country. That observable fiasco is systematically due to the intrusion of super powers within the UN SC for geopolitical and geostrategic stakes to the detriment of protection and safety of human lives. Keywords: UN, peace, security, super powers, MINUSCA, MINUSMA, stakes, geopolitics, geostrategic
