Often the issue is not that they are migrating but what is imported along with them. The flow of refugees from one country to another, particularly in Central Africa, had detrimental consequences which led to a series of wars and destabilization of the region. Many refugees fleeing for reasons of persecution can have a tendency to trigger broader issues. This paper asserts that both refugee-sending states and refugee-receiving states are more likely to initiate in militarized disputes against each other. The broader goal of this paper is to contribute toward research that examines the mutually reinforcing relationship between the state and the refugee, and how they influence each other’s paths toward eventual policy. Often, the issues and actors in civil wars span national boundaries and become part of a regional security dynamic, blurring line between what is an internal war affecting the external region through its course of action.

During the Vietnam War the military relied heavily on civilian contractors to maintain equipment needed for the field in areas such as communication and maintenance of most field equipment. With the advancement of new and specialized equipment the ordinary soldier is not equipped with the necessary technical skills to repair specialized equipment, so the military uses civilians to keep the various systems and field equipment in running order. After the Cold War conventional warfare and the use of military has changed from conventional to unconventional warfare, guerilla warfare.Private military companies maybe one of the most important concept within the security studies that has developed over the past decade or so. This new industry, where these companies not only supply the necessary equipment of warfare, but also fulfill many of the professional functions within warzones, is not only significant to the defense community, but has wider ramifications for international policies and warfare.

Its history as a marginalized and thus insignificant region within the world has been brought into the light as a critical region within geopolitics between Russia and China along with the major contesters within the world. The Sino-Russian relationship has existed for centuries, but one that has fluctuating constantly with at times a cautious alliance and at other times at another’s throats. Both countries have ambitions to be the sole influencer with in Asia, but at the same time uniting to confront western growth. Central Asia has been the key to their relationship and will determine if both can coexist together or will drift apart.

The acts of 9/11 were not the first of terrorist like actions rather acts such like these have been evolving within history, becoming more so infamous with this tragedy and the coming “war”. So with the invasion of these two countries by the US military and its NATO allies the loss of thousands of American soldiers and tens of thousands of Afghanis and Iraqis, and the start of a global jihadi war that seems unending, virtually any alternative seems worth considering. It seems that heavy-handed tactics employed in the name unity/peace disrupt international order for peaceful coexistence and mutual respect. The militaristic view that if we kill enough militants the threat will go away has proved the contrary: it appears that the more firepower unleashed to resolve conflicts the more jihadists turn up to reciprocate the violence. There has not been much in terms of non-violent or means to attack the root of the issue rather than pulling all focus on the aftermath of the fact.

Robert Inchausti describes it as, "Nonviolence is a wager -- not so much on the goodness of humanity, as on its infinite complexity." As in war, the key for a nonviolent campaign is to find and exploit the opponent's weaknesses. On a global scale the international community has seen a rise in revolutions. When people wage nonviolent conflict, they withdraw their cooperation from an oppressive system by using acts of civil disobedience and resistance to enact a change. The outcomes of many who struggle in these campaigns against oppression recognize the potential of nonviolent strategies to produce open and just societies. Civil resistance the act of a non-violent campaign, are far more successful than those that employ violent tactics to enact change.
