I am currently Director of the Centre for Health and Social Justice, in India and Clinical Associate Professor of the Department of Global Health at the University of Washington, Seattle, USA. CHSJ (www.chsj.org) is a national resource centre working on issues related to health governance and men and gender equality. A doctor with training in obstetrics, paediatrics and public health I have over thirty years’ experience in working directly with communities as well as improving systems through training, research and policy advocacy at the national and global level.

Multiple searches of the surrounding area and monitoring of artificial cover objects over the next four months did not result in any further observations of P. cinereus on burned soils. This observation indicates that 1) wildfire adversely affects P. cinereus populations immediately following the fire; and 2) amphibian recolonization of extensively burned landscapes may occur from unburned refugia within the fire zone.

The values of betaeff, gammaeff, and delta for the alloys with x=5 and 10, in the asymptotic critical region, agree with those of other amorphous materials and are closer to the predictions of the three-dimensional Heisenberg model. In contrast, for the sample with x=15, the effective values of the exponents beta (0.52) and gamma (1.73) are significantly larger. This difference is ascribed to the formation of magnetic clusters with the addition of Cr, which leads to the nondivergence of the correlation function at Tc and consequently a different set of exponent values. Further, these results strengthen the conclusion that there is no influence of topological disorder on the values of the exponents in the critical region.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) plays the most important role in their diagnosis. Perivascular epithelioid cell tumor (PEComa), a rarely reported tumor in the adrenal gland, shares many features with another rare tumor sarcomatoid adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC). Extensive immunohistochemical study is required to distinguish this tumor from adrenocortical carcinoma and from other morphologically similar tumors. The unique combination of immunoreactivity for melanocytic markers, such as HMB-45 and Melan A, and myogenic markers, such as smooth muscle actin, is the hallmark of PEComas biological behavior, and prognosis of malignant PEComas is yet to be fully understood. Few cases of malignant PEComa have been reported in the adrenal gland. We report a case of malignant PEComa of the adrenal gland posing diagnostic challenge and compare its morphological and immunohistochemical features with those of sarcomatoid ACC.

Though currently available estimates don't focus only on agriculture and also don't include its carbon capture potential. Hence the picture presented is an incomplete one. On the other hand a more direct & focussed study has been conducted to measure the carbon balance of agricultural practices by incorporating the carbon capture potential of agriculture. This estimate will possibly provide a more appropriate picture of the existing status of agricultural emissions in-comparison to the other GHG emitting sectors.
