The country boundaries employed for analytical purposes do not imply endorsement of any particular claims to sovereignty or territorial integrity, and do not claim to be definitive for any particular purpose. For purposes of analysis, we define "country" as any entity with an ISO-3166-1 code, as shown here. If different geographies need to be analyzed, all code is open to inspection, and a demonstration Earth Engine script is available for analyzing user-defined geographies.
