- I was born in Cartagena on May 14th 1981.
- I received the MS degree in Computer Science in 2004 from the University of Murcia (Spain).
- I received the PhD degree in Computer Science in 2009 from the University of Murcia (Spain).
- During my PhD, I did an internship at the School of Informatics of The University of Edinburgh (Scotland).
- After my PhD, I join the Parallel Architecture Group (GAP) at the Computer Engineering Department (DISCA) of the Technical University of Valencia (Spain) as a research assistant.
- Later, I started a PostDoc in the Uppsala Programming for Multicore Architectures Research Center (UPMARC) at the Department of Information Technology of Uppsala University (Sweden).
- Nowadays, I am a Full Professor in the Computer Engineering Department (DITEC) of the Universidad de Murcia.
Awards
- Inducted into the MICRO Hall of Fame.
- Inducted into the ISCA Hall of Fame.
- 19 HiPEAC paper awards for publications at ISCA (9), MICRO (8), and HPCA (2).
- Winner of the ML-based Data Prefetching Competition.
- Winner of the 1st Instruction Prefetching Championship.
