WeeMen at Salute 52 Titan Walk - South London Warlords Expo - London Docklands

This weekend we (Titan Owners Club) were lucky enough to be invited to put on a demonstration game once again at the Salute 52 expo, in London Excel Centre in Docklands London. It was a nice one day event, and I had a great time with the Princeps and Admin team the night before for a nice meal out and during the Walk itself. A great weekend. Thanks to all the participants and crew and to South London Warlords for inviting us.

Relictors Space Marine Chapter - "Death Eagles" Librarius Judicial Guard (Tactical Squad)

Hello Readers, thanks for dropping by. I have a lore rich treat today. I always loved the original "Death Eagle" 1989 sculpts by Mark Copplestone and when I managed to pick up the trio, I thought what to do with them? The Relictors Chapter has lore where the Relictors continue their fight against the Ruinous Powers using the very tools of Chaos against itself. Although labelled Excommunicate Traitoris, the Chapter remain ever loyal to the Emperor and abide by most part to the Codex Astartes - a notable feature of the Chapter’s organisation is the inclusion of more Librarians than is usual, a feature some observers have attributed to the Relictors’ homeworld proximity to the Eye of Terror (and nothing to do with chaos taint... honest).
The Judicial Guard is tasked with assisting the Librarius and Chaplaincy rooting out corruption before it takes hold - the Chapter's own existence relies on keeping on the right side of Rouboute Guilliman now they have been pardoned and reinforced with Primaris now at the appearance of the Cicatrix Maledictum and the desperate situation humanity finds itself, a few 'indiscretions' can be overlooked... (read about the fluff and new background to Relictors Chapter above at the tab Relictors Chapter Background). This is why the Judicial Guard wear a gold Pauldron on the left shoulder, a badge of Office representing the golden Aquila of the Chaplain's Crozius Arcanum.
The right shoulder pauldron has the Relictors Chapter badge, many of which I had to freehand due to tiny size, I used whatever pauldrons I had in bitz box with the sculpted disc (and removed IX from the pads). The Sergeant has a totem of a Tome of the Librarius to declare the authority of his squad. Game wise I will run these as a 'firstborn' Tactical Squad with Plasma Gun, Heavy Bolter and Sergeant with Power Fist.
Here are the three "Death Eagle" Marines, the originals can be seen below
Original Death Eagle scheme in WD112 (Apr 1989)
Mail Order Death Eagles from Catalogue '89
The rest of the members are made up of old 1990's sculpts and older pattern bolters, and a Heavy Bolter from Horus Heresy plastics. These fit in better with the old Death Eagle sculpts size wise.
Note the nod to the original Death Eagle scheme with the quartered pink and white knee pads.
Here the 'Death Eagles' back up a member of the Chaplaincy as they seek out impurities amongst the ranks.

Relictors Chapter Space Marines - Terminator Ancient for 1st Company

Hello Readers, thanks for dropping by, the latest addition to my extensive Battle Companies is a Terminator Ancient from the Space Marine Heroes Series 2.
I painted the helm bone as all my 1st Co. have.
The banner I chose to do linen, or off white as all the other banners are grey or black, so the other accent colour I have is bone. And being 1st Co. they need a 'white-ish' banner.
The new 'correct' Relictors decals were used.
The Ancients gather, 5th Company, 1st Company, Primaris Companies and 4th Company.

Legio Crucius - Warhound Titan Weapons - Done

Hello one and all,

Quick post, I've managed to complete several new weapons for selection for my Warhounds. Due to unavailability and lack of 28mm product development when compared to the AT range, these are 3D printed. 2x Conversion Beamers, a Volkite Eradicator and a Melta Lance weapon. These are switched utilising a nut and bolt solution in the arm and shoulder.
Melta Lance and Volkite Eradicator
Twin Melta Lances for close up fury
These have been painted to fit with my Legio Crucius force.

Thanks for Swinging by! LH (20pts)

Mechanicum - Thallax Cohort #3 w/ Phased Plasma Fusil

Hello Readers, thanks for dropping by. The latest additions to the Mechanicum Taghmata is a squad of Thallax, a Thallax Cohort. These can be in squads of three or up to nine. They are armed with Lightning Guns which are heavy 3 Shred and two modes Arc and Strike (single shot mode but additional +3 strength and Rending) and one has a Phased Plasma-Fusil.
The Phased Plasma-Fusil is for dealing with heavy armoured troops.
There are two Lightning Gun armed automata
And here are the entire Cohort so far, three squads each with a heavy weapon and all can deep strike in and have jet pack for rapid movement.

Imperial Knights - Vassal Knights of Legio Astorum - Cerastus Knight Lancer #4

Here is the fourth and final of the Knight Lancers for my Cerastus Knight Lance of Legio Astorum. Vassal Knights are those bonded to a Forge World, not like a Household of Knights which may come from a world's noble class. These are seen on Forge World Lucius, where Legio Astorum hail from, as stalwart defenders of the Forge complexes. Rapid reaction forces and escorts to the valuable God Engines of the Legio.
This is Sir Alarbus riding Cerastus Knight Lancer 'Astra Fury', the more dynamic of the poses so far, the raised left leg is supported with a brass pin from the base to evenly distribute the weight.
I added some foil gauze to the foot cavity to add depth and detail. You can see the black pin drilled into the foot and base for stability and the rocks for weight to prevent the miniature tipping forward easily and help stop the base from warping shape over time.
The shock lance is magnetised at the elbow for ease of transport to Titan Owners Club events or battles at a mates house.
The Ion Gauntlet Shield sports the star map icons often found on Legio Astorum God Engines.
