Spot-On models

Spot-On models, was a brand name for a line of diecast toy cars by Tri-ang produced from 1959 through about 1967. They were manufactured in 1:42 scale in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the United Kingdom.

A Tri-Ang product

Spot-On models was a range of diecast vehicles from Tri-ang, a division of Lines Brothers, which had been established as a toy maker in 1935 (Johnson 1998, 230). The Lines Brothers made just about everything toy related, from push-along and rocking horses in the first decades of the 1900s to their main staple of trains (King 1986, pp. 118,121). After World War II, Lines Brothers claimed to be the largest toy maker in the world.

In the 1950s, Dinky Toys from Liverpool, had developed a successful range of vehicles to be purchased apart from railroad sets and then in 1956 Corgi Toys, made by Mettoy, followed suit. Not wishing to miss out on a commercial opportunity, Lines Brothers started its own range in 1959 – made in its factory in Northern Ireland. Murray Lines himself chose a uniquely British model selection.

Harrington Talents

Harrington Talents is a film production company located in the City Island area of the Bronx. Frank Mosca serves as the company's head producer, Stephen Franciosa Jr. works as the director, chief editor, and technical director, and John Morena works as a creative director and art designer.

Spot On

Spot On is a commercial production division of Harrington Talents. It was established in 2009 as the influx of demand for commercial, industrial, and viral productions rose for Harrington. Owners Frank Mosca and Stephen Franciosa Jr. felt it necessary to establish a subsidiary that solely dealt with commercial and promotional production.

Spot On (New Zealand)

Spot On was a New Zealand Children's Television series which aired between in 1973 and 1988. The format was a weekly show with three presenters, based on the format of the UK show Blue Peter. Commonly one presenter was replaced each year. The show was produced by TVNZ at their Dunedin studios except for the final two seasons produced at the TVNZ Studio 4 facility in Christchurch.
