If you are a new student who begins at WFU in Fall 2024, you will have access to Workday approximately 48 hours after Wake Forest receives your deposit or you formally commit to attend WFU. Once you receive your Wake Forest email address, you will be able to sign in using that email. Watch for communications about your next steps.


Student onboarding tasks are now available in Workday for the Fall 2024 semester. Students are responsible for completing these tasks twice a year to keep their records up to date. Onboarding will open two weeks before the first day of classes, and the tasks need to be completed before the start of the fall and spring semesters. You can find these tasks in your Workday My Tasks inbox. 

If your Workday inbox does not currently list any tasks, you are all set for the fall semester. Please check your inbox today.

A few important things to note:

  • You can complete your onboarding tasks in 30 minutes or less.
  • Until you complete your onboarding tasks, you will not have access to registration activities including adding, dropping and swapping courses.
  • You must click Submit on every single task or your onboarding will remain incomplete.
