Tourism is travel for pleasure and for business as well. The tourism industry has become the largest and fastest growing industry in the world. These days, more and more people travel on vacation for the purpose of recreation, accommodation, and entertainment. The main goal of this project is to help tourists understand all of the information about specific tourist spots and glorious places. This will enable them to make full use of their visit without omitting critical information. There are lots of apps out there to guide tourists towards the places they should visit. They're paper-based and mobile-based, but they lack interactive features. Considering the limitations of existing applications, this system application provides a portable tour guide mobile application replacing the old tour guide booklet. The application was produced based on the Android platform with augmented reality technology, and delivered as a mobile application.

Maritime transportation market relies on a diverse set of stakeholders and it is strongly affected by their cultural and sectoral diversity. The plethora of existing telematic information services suffer from inflexibility in the sense of restricting the types of business models they allow. Thus the providers of such services are forced to assume predefined business models and processes that are fixed and thus inflexible. The paper discusses a framework, which enables the intelligent integration of sea transport services exploiting the release of web services and the dynamic exchange of data offered by peer to peer communication models. The framework provides flexibility and better process integration, since it allows the open communication of different service providers in the maritime sector. A specific application based on the proposed framework; namely the Personal Traveller Mobile Assistant (PTMA) is also presented. PTMA application is built upon the proposed framework, by aggregating content from tourism information sites, meteo, content and computerised reservation systems,.

Abstract: The growth of e-commerce brings to foreground innovative e-based services, which heavily affect the behaviour of sea travellers. The interested parties of the maritime market (ie, shipping companies, travel agencies, port authorities, etc.) have to take account of the new scheme and take appropriate actions in order to strengthen their presence in e market.
Peer-to-peer markets, collectively known as the pooling economy, have emerged as alternative suppliers of goods and services traditionally provided by long-established industries. The rapid growth of peer-to-peer platforms has arguably been enabled by two key factors: technology innovations and supply-side flexibility. Technology innovations have streamlined the process of market entry for suppliers, have facilitated searchable listings for consumers, and have kept transaction overheads low. Supply-side flexibility is another hallmark of these platforms: Uber drivers can add or remove themselves from the available supply of drivers with a swipe on an app, and similarly other suppliers can readily list and de-list the selection of goods or services they have on offer. Biyahero.ph adapted this kind of market by allowing its biyahero organizer to input their travel packages and enlist them so that biyahero joiner can choose and avail the said tours.

As a city crossed by rivers, Surabaya has the potential for attractive water tourism. Kalimas is one of them. Kalimas is a river that divides Surabaya. Kali Mas is a tributary of the Brantas River. This main river flows from Mojokerto as its headwaters, then flows to the northeast, empties into Surabaya, and ends in the Madura Strait. Muara Kali Mas has been Surabaya's traditional port for centuries. This port became the gateway to the capital of the Majapahit Kingdom (in Trowulan), and became part of the Surabaya people's battle against the allies before November 10, 1945. In various countries, river tourism has developed. Not only for city residents, but has become part of the State's tourism. One example is in Italy, namely tracing the river canals in Venice in Italy. Everything is described so well that everyone who comes wants to try it. Experiences and interesting photo documentation make river tourism an opportunity to develop. River tourism can be a potential alt...
