What is the Lightning Path?

What is the Lightning Path? In eleven words, the Lightning Path is a system of health, healing, and reconnection. It is a system of health because it provides clear guidance on what we need to know and what we need to do if we want to create a world where our children grow up healthy, whole, and connected (hint, create a world that meets all our Seven Essential Needs), It is a system of healing because it provides clear guidance on what we need to do to heal ourselves of all the damage we have incurred as a consequence of living on this toxic and violent Earth (hint, make the world a Healing Space). Finally, it is a system of reconnection because it provides clear guidance on who we (as a species) are and what we need to do to reconnect with our Spiritual Ego or “true self.” Put another way, we might say that the Lightning Path is a Human Development Framework (HDF) designed to provide a path towards healing and reconnection. Specifically, the Lightning Path provides a modern and thoroughly decolonized view of human beings, what it means to be human, what it means to be healthy, and what kind of environment we need to provide in order that we all grow up healthy and connected. All this might seem like a big thing, but it’s not rocket science. In fact, once you’ve sorted it out, it’s really not that complicated, though given all the nonsense we’ve been fed since birth on this planet, it can take some explaining, which is what the Lightning Path tries to do, explain it as clear and precisely as possible to as many people as will sit down and listen. We do this in a number of ways, through our SpiritWiki, our Rocket GuidesTM, our LP Workbooks, our course curriculum, our scholarly articles, our Patreon and social media channels, and so on and so forth. All this curriculum is still in development, but is functional even now; you can get early, organized access and even healing and connection support through the Lightning Path Discord server. Check our Patreon page for access. Before letting you go, there are a couple of things we should say about the LP. Number one, the Lightning Path is a scientific framework. It is firmly grounded in empirical reality and scholarly research. You can see the effort we put into grounding this framework by checking out the SpiritWiki references page. This SpiritWiki reference page is a relatively up-to-date listing of sources cited in the theoretical and empirical development of the LP perspective. Number two, we should also say that despite being a scientific framework, the LP is also a “spiritual” framework. We put the word “spiritual” in scare quotes because the word “spiritual” comes with a lot of confusion and baggage; thankfully, however, it is not that hard to clear up. As noted in this post entitled “What does it mean to be spiritual,” spirituality is all about healing and connection. When we say the LP is spiritual we mean that the LP is concerned with healing the physical body and its Bodily Ego so that it might more fully and completely Connect to the powerful Spiritual Ego that lies disconnected and buried within. Don’t worry too much if this doesn’t make complete sense to you right now. It will all become perfectly clear for you once you walk a few steps on this path. And that is the Lightning Path.
