This Egyptian military commander (Si'be) has been enormously difficult for scholars (whether they be conventional or revisionist) to identify. Was he: Ramses III; or Psibkhenno (I had liked Dr. Rohl’s attempt here due to its close transliteration); or Shabako; or Shebitku; or the biblical “So king of Egypt” (2 Kings 17:4)? Or some, or all, of these?

It was a trend when researches proved that there is no much scope for bricks and motor stores in the future as the online retail giants like ebay and amazon ruled the market. But as time passed its evident that the e-retailers are now starting experience stores and retail stores, the reason is that these online retailers know that despite the convenience of online shopping, the majority of consumers still prefer the in-store shopping experience. They want to see the merchandise, touch it, and try it on, which can only be done in a physical store. Retailers also know that customers like the convenience of shopping online and picking up their merchandise the same day at a nearby location, or when the purchase does not work out, returning the merchandise to a nearby store. Additionally, once a customer is in the store, there is always the opportunity to make another sale. Brands include Warby Parker, Bonobos and Birchbox and Athleta, Blue Nile, Rent the Runway, Trunk Club which are strong online brands, who are opening experience stores in multiple international locations. Similarly, in India Pepperfry.com being the largest furniture manufacturer and e-retailer in India, has overcome its major challenges of eCommerce by opening its experience studios across the country in tire I and tire II cities. The company currently has 21studios pan India, and is still in process of opening furthermore. By 2018 the company is aiming to open 30 more to round the number to 50 experience studios. These experience studios are physical point of touch of the virtual retailer, where customers get the opportunity to see the product collection in real and place the order. Another brand would be lenskart.com, which is also following the same market model. This paper critically evaluates how these experience studios are benefiting the online retailer and are they really helping the brands to overcome the major challenges of eCommerce. It also goes through the impact these experience stores have made on the e-tailing.

Pauvreté volontaire et gestion de la pauvreté2023 •
The question of voluntary poverty has been present in the history of mendicant orders since their foundation. This article explores, through the study of practical sources (account registers) of Dominican convents and monasteries in Tuscany, the effective application of this poverty, and its interpretation. The examination of these documents highlights the networks of relationships created by the exercise of poverty: economic and spiritual links that unite friars and nuns, communities of regulars and pious establishments (hospitals), religious and laity. Moreover, by crossing the point of view of friars and nuns, but also of observants and conventuals, this article highlights the variety of interpretations of the notion of poverty within the Dominican order, and its evolution.
