This postcard, included in the special issue "Contemporary Directions in Director Training" in Theatre, Dance, and Performance Training Journal, is a personal succinct account of the many challenges directors come across inside and outside the rehearsal room. Touching on a variety of skills and capacities --artistic, practical, managerial and psychological--that directors must display in order to help empower the team, it propagates resilience as a key factor and a valuable tool in director training.

This article suggests a new interpretative framework for Article 27(2) of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which prohibits sexual violence against women in armed conflict. One specific aspect of this norm is particularly controversial: the notion of 'honour' has often been criticised as an obsolete concept linked to an outdated view of female morality. In the absence of a definition of the term, this article examines whether the gendered limitations of the norm can be overcome and the extent to which an evolutive interpretation of the concept is feasible. It argues that the concept of 'honour' can be treated as a generic term that is subject to evolutive interpretation, allowing for a renewed and gendersensitive understanding to be developed, aligned with the concept of human dignity.

IntroductionOn Earth, self-produced somatosensory stimuli are typically perceived as less intense than externally generated stimuli of the same intensity, a phenomenon referred to as somatosensory attenuation (SA). Monolithic dome structures were built in the 1970s in Europe and America. These dome structures share common benefits of being cost efficient, earth-friendly, extremely durable, and easily maintained. Monolithic shells are easily constructed and are extremely cost-effective. Monolithic domes respond efficiently to any climate, even to extremely cold or hot temperatures. In terms of utility savings, monolithic domes can cut electricity consumption by up to one-third, thereby saving 60–70% of total energy costs. Moreover, monolithic structures provide the highest survivability rates from destructions. The interior of monolithic domes have perfect, concave shapes to ensure that sound travels through the dome and perfectly collected at different vocal points.
