Se tratan algunos aspectos fundamentales del proceso técnico de acuñación de moneda identificados en los últimos años en los reinos de Castilla y León en la Edad Media: el material usado por los entalladores en la fabricación de los cuños y su alteración en el proceso final de fabricación de moneda a través de la introducción de marcas de control del funcionamiento del taller. Ambos procesos se relacionan con las técnicas empleadas por otros artistas y artesanos de la Edad Media como el uso de marcas por parte de los canteros o la preparación de los tipos de las primeras imprentas. Abstract. This chapter deals with some fundamental aspects of the minting technique in Castile-Leon in the Middle Age identified in latest years. In short, it is analyzed the material used by the die-makers and the transformation of the dies to control the proper functioning of the mint. Both aspects have relation with other contemporary techniques as the use of marks by masons and the creation of the types in the firsts prints.

The purpose of this paper is the study by simulation of a fault tolerant control with Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) AC-DC-AC converter supplying a three-phase rotor field oriented induction motor. The back to back converter, is supplied with three-phase network and composed of a PWM rectifier and a voltage source inverter. Fault tolerant topology of AC-DC-AC converter that without redundancy have been studied and associated with affective and fast method of fault detection and compensation to guarantee the continuity of service, in the presence of a possible open circuit failure on the level of one of their legs. Although of the presence of open circuit on the level of one of the converter legs the control based on the Zero Sequence Signal (ZSS) assure the service continuity, the simulation results obtained prove that it is possible to maintain the good performance of the drive without redundancy leg (6/5 topology).

Various studies have shown that stroke morbidity and mortality could be decreased if patients receive early diagnosis and treatment. Iranian Pre-hospital Stroke Scale (IPSS) is designed based on other prehospital stroke scales available across the world as well as experiences of emergency medicine specialists and pre-hospital emergency technicians to improve the diagnostic accuracy of the stroke scale in Iran.
