This is a guidebook for secondary education of out of school adolescent girls and young women in Jharkhand. A bridge education content was developed for preparing around 50,000 out of school girls and young women under the World Bank assisted Tejaswini adolescent women empowerment programme in Jharkhand. We drafted this guidebook to familiarise the education service providers, master trainers, trainers, teachers and youth facilitators under the programme who were trained under the programme. The bridge education content was a comprehensive content to familiarise the adolescent girls and young women with the basics of the NCERT and NIOS books so that these girls could easily understand the main books and take examinations. These books were found very useful for the adolescent girls and young women because of the simple narrations, useful illustrations and academic coaching classes. Finally these AGYW sat for the examinations conducted by NIOS, Government of India.

The purpose of this project is to study the market situation and consumers ’ beha-vior in the restaurant business in Vaasa, in order to develop a business plan for a Japanese restaurant in this city. The study focuses on two main areas, the devel-opment of our product, and how to bring it as a new product into this market. The theoretical part of the study consists of three parts. The first part is a thorough study about Japanese cuisine, which is the foundation of the product development of our own particular product. The second part deals with the general product de-velopment and introduction theory, which assists us in developing a reliable strat-egy to bring our product. The third part is the theoretical guidelines for composing a comprehensive business plan for the restaurant. The empirical part is a market study by the means of a questionnaire assisted survey. Needs analysis aims to identify what English students should learn. However, there are still many teachers who have not analyzed the material needs of students. The material used by the teacher is too general for students. Students do not get English for specific purposes for particular majors. This results when students find it challenging to communicate with guests in certain areas. This study aims to analyze the English material and analyze the suitability of the English language material based on the ESP principles. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The study subjects were students of the class XI beauty program—the use of questionnaires and document checklists as data collection instruments. The study results indicate that students need unique English materials and special English skills in the tourism sector, especially in beauty spas.
