Full Divine By Michael S. mikes@athabascau.ca January, 2024 https://www.lightningpath.org https://www.patreon.com/posts/mantic-spiritual-95316465 Full Divine I write a poem to share with you, In hopes this message will get through, In hopes an arrow for to find, A heart that’s pumping FULL DIVINE. And if it’s not, well sad to say, I shrug my shoulders in this way, And say “no skin of my big nose,” If you decide to curl your toes. But listen to these words I pray, The old world it will go away, And at end of time you’re sure to find. No platform for your graced behind. So heed this poem, for here I say, I’ve come to show a better way, To make you pause and heed this day. Please listen, lest the piper plays. For time is now, just as we planned, The place is earth, it has God’s brand, Before you know it, told you so. We’ll have a big utopian show. And if you want to join the fun, Well listen up, I’m almost done. The secret’s simple, truth so fine, Just pump your heart out, FULL DIVINE. Mantic Poetry Mantic poetry is a genre of poetry focused on the mystical, the prophetic, or the visionary. The term "mantic" comes from the Greek word "mantikos," which means prophetic or oracular. 1 This type of poetry often deals with themes of divination, prophecy, and spiritual or mystical experiences. It may explore the realms of the supernatural, the future, or the hidden aspects of reality. Mantic poetry has a long history, dating back to ancient times when poets and seers were often considered to have special insight into the divine or the future. In many cultures, these individuals were revered and their words were considered to hold significant power and wisdom. This genre of poetry tends to be rich in symbolism and imagery, often using metaphors and allegorical language to convey its messages. The tone can range from mysterious and enigmatic to deeply insightful, depending on the poet's approach and the subject matter. Mantic poetry is not limited to any specific time period or culture and can be found in various literary traditions around the world. It continues to be a means for poets to explore and express spiritual, mystical, and visionary experiences. The poem Full Divine by Mike Sosteric is a Mantic poem. The poem itself contains prophetic and visionary language. The poem speaks of the "end of time" and a "big utopian show," suggesting a future transformation or significant event. This aligns with the mantic tradition of foretelling future events or shifts. The poem also contains a call to spiritual awakening. The poem urges the reader towards a spiritual awakening or realization, indicated by phrases like "pump your heart out, FULL DIVINE" and "I’ve come to show a better way." 1 Munro H.
