Their work was developed not so much from the perspective of an academic thinker as from the practical vision of the importance this phenomenon has for implementing strategies as well as of its effects on performance efficiency and efficacy. All of the authors agree that organization culture is relevant for strategics, yet, no general consensus has been reached as regards the possibility of managing, reorienting or transforming such culture. Changing cultures involves combining rational and logical aspects with creative and emotional vision, objective-descriptive approaches with subjective assessments and interpretations. The "Six Thinking Hats" model was used to simplify opinion diversity as well as to comparatively highlight focus and areas of special interest in the different authors.

Arslantepe, located in south-eastern Turkey, is a multi-period settlement with a rich history of habitation dating back to at least the late 5th millennium BCE and spanning into the Medieval period. Over millennia, the site underwent drastic cultural, socio-economic and political transformations, resulting in its current form as a 30-mhigh artificial mound. This mound predominantly consists of earth, encompassing clay based construction materials, assorted objects and discarded materials. This paper consolidates research on various earthen objects and fixtures from the site, investigating their material properties through X-ray Diffraction (XRD), X-ray Fluorescence (XRF), sediment micromorphology and ceramic petrography. The focus is on characterising the diverse earthen products as well as assessing differences and similarities in the procurement and manipulation of raw materials during the Late Chalcolithic period. Earth emerged as a pivotal resource for Arslantepe communities, showcasing diverse strategies of collection, manipulation and utilisation-a compelling example of cross-crafting strategies. The findings reveal a multifaceted body of knowledge intertwined with the exploitation of this resource, emphasising distinct technological expertise, environmental considerations, as well as cultural preferences and socio-economic factors. Ultimately, the integrated examination of cross-craft strategies in the 4th millennium BCE Arslantepe settlement provides a unique glimpse into communities of practice and socialnetworks centred around the utilisation of earth, contributing to a deeper understanding of past societies.
Why doesn't Aristotle recognise the moral/ prudential distinction? I Because there's no such thing, and he's wise to that fact in a way that we often aren't. And I do mean wise to it. He isn't merely naïve. It's not that the possibility of affirming some such distinction never occurs to himthe way the possibility of denying that distinction never occurs to some of us. Aristotle is no dull ignorant savage. He sees what someone might say to try and establish such a distinction; and he rejects it. As a result he is happily free from the false puzzles and the dead ends that the moral/ prudential distinction all too often leads us into. He uses lots of other distinctions in the same area, some of them in some ways rather like it but also, and in more ways, crucially different from it; and these shed all sorts of interesting light on all sorts of matters that the moral/ prudential distinction merely obscures. In all of this, Aristotle gives us a model of how to do ethics without the moral/ prudential distinction.

Softstone explores stone containers that have been made and used in the Middle East for over eleven millennia where they pre-dated the invention of pottery and were widely traded. The appearance or properties of the stone helped govern how stone vessels were valued or used and many classes were strictly utilitarian, being used for storage, cooking or lighting. Others were decorated and at times they were considered valuable exotica, particularly in regions far removed from their source areas. The subject of stone vessels is attracting growing attention but this is the first attempt to bring together different approaches to the study of softstone vessels, particularly but not exclusively those carved from varieties of chlorite, and covering all periods from prehistory to the present.

Biochemical synthesis of calcium phosphates (CaP) with use of enzymes is a novel trend in the synthesis of hydroxyapatite (HA) and other biocompatible calcium salts and composites. These compounds are biocompatible, possess good mechanical properties, and are suitable for a variety of purposes in bone tissue engineering. In this review, we discuss the biosynthesis (or enzymatic synthesis) of calcium phosphates and its comparison with conventional chemical methods. Main attention is paid to properties of CaP compounds for biochemical applications, classification and role of various enzymes in the biomineralization processes, role of bacteria and fungi, mechanisms of mineralization in several steps and possible real-time monitoring. A large number of morphologies of biochemically obtained CaP is shown, in particular for nanoscale range. Enzymes in natural biomineralization processes with participation of common bacteria, possessing a periplasmic alkaline phosphatase, are discussed in the point of view of their contribution in formation of fossils and rocks. CaP composites with natural biopolymers (chitosan, polysaccharides, cellulose) and synthetic polymers are described, as well as CaP compounds, functionalized with a series of biomolecules. The use of biowaste (animal, plant and aquatic origin, such as bone waste, eggshells, naturally derived biomolecules and biomembranes, marine organisms, etc.), used as raw materials for the preparation of CaP, is also shown.
