Furthermore, most prolific authors from Australia with 4 research papers. It’s obvious that the journal of information technology education is rapidly growing journal in the field of education, technology. Keywords: bibliometric, education, technology, research, information, collaboration. Introduction: Journals are concerned the first hand information sources which are included new and updated articles with latest issues of research on specific field of study. Journals are playing vital role for latest development on particular field of study. Information growing is getting too speed day by day. In the same way bibliometrics study plays important role in the library and information science via analyzing the journal, periodicals and books as others materials through which their configuration of publication worth, author contributions, countries contributions, lengths of papers etc. it may help the library staff for stock collection and development, this will reveal also major impact on libraries to gain their collection through bibliometrics analysis/studied. There are so many persons; scholars have defined the term bibliometrics in their own context and already mentioned in different places so it’s doesn’t need to describe more as well. The term bibliometrics 1 have been coined by Pritchard in 1969. But before that the alternative term was originated in 1922.it means the study about the measurement of books is called bibliometrics .when the measurement of book is come than its define certain things to measure like length of papers, authors, countries are to measured is called bibliometrics. Bibliometric is well known area of library and information science which aim to examine the latest publishing trends in different field of studies. Bibliometric study widely uses to analyze to see the growth of publications on a specific field of study. Ferreira, M. P., Santos, J. C., de Almeida, M. I. R., & Reis, N. R. (2014)1 said that bibliometric study purely related to statistical and quantitative analysis of published online and printed materials as well as sources of information. Moreover, bibliometric was coined by Allan Prichard in 1969 which mean statistical and mathematical tools to measures research articles published from different authors and different disciplines. Luo, F., Sun, A., Erdt, M., Raamkumar, A. S., & Theng, Y. L. (2018)12 Stated that bibliometric use to evaluate the research trends as well as highlighted the scholars lily working environment. They also determined that massive aspect of research output has been justified through bibliometric. Moreover, it can be said bibliometric is some sort of technique which enable the researcher to dig out the important area of research. The bibliometric can be beneficial for researcher to better understand their selection of research topic and can be helpful for choosing research direction. Krauskopf, E. (2018)13 stated that bibliometric use for distinguish the impact of a journal. The bibliometric study also describes the current status and future analysis of a specific journal. Moreover, this will use to evaluate the libraries collections, institutions ranking and number of indicators use to justify the biliometric study e.g. impact factor. H-index etc. Objectives of the Study This study has been organized the following objectives: 1. To identify the research articles published from 2002 to 2007 in JITE. 2. To find out the country wise contribution in research articles in education and IT field from 2002 to 2007. 3. To distinguish the author collaborations during the chosen period of study. 4.
