A STEP-BY-STEP READING INTERVENTION FOR THE THIRD GRADE
Here are the instrucons on how to carry out the reading intervenon 1. All the learners are required to read the first 100 fry sight words. This is to idenfy whether the learner is Non-Reader, Very Poor reader, Poor reader, Good Reader, Very Good Reader and the new one is Excellent Reader. 2. To idenfy the reading level using the first 100 Fry sight words the computaon is given below. Number of words read x 100 i.e 90 x 100 = 90 % Total number of words 100 3. Once the results have been computed, the learners can easily be idenfied as to NR, VPR, PR, GR, VGR, and ER.
