This study investigated the availability and utilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) facilities by Teacher Educators for effective teaching and learning in Nigerian Universities, using descriptive survey research design. The study population consisted of all (128) Teacher Educators from the two public universities in Edo State of Nigeria. Out of 128 Teacher Educators, 100 were selected using random sampling technique. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire. The data collected were analyzed using simple percentage and chi-square. The findings revealed that ICT facilities which serve as a major contributor to effective teaching and learning in teacher education programmes were not available. The study recommends among others strategies for its (ICT) maximum utilization; and that ICT facilities should be made available for effective teaching and learning of teacher education programmes.
The study explored the availability of information and communication technology (ICT) resources for instruction in selected colleges of education based on institutional ownership in Kano State. The study used a survey research design. A researcher-designed questionnaire and an adapted checklist from the National Commission for Colleges of Education, Minimum Standard (2012) for data collection. Mean and simple percentages were used to analyze the research questions. A total of 286 lecturers were proportionately sampled from Federal College of Education, Kano and Sa'adatu Rimi College of Education, Kumbotso, Kano, which were purposively selected for the study. A reliability value of 0.72 was obtained for the frequency of utilization instrument using Cronbach Alpha. The findings revealed that the two Colleges of Education have almost all of the ICT resources required by National Commission of Colleges of Education (NCCE) in Nigeria. The findings also revealed that lecturers' frequency of use of ICT resources for instruction was not fully encouraged. The study concluded that Colleges of Education in Kano state have basic ICT resources as required by NCCE. The study therefore recommended, among others, that government and school management should provide an enabling environment, such as provision of infrastructure facilities, internet connectivity, and stable power supply, among others.

The rescue research on the plot of K. and Z. Angelakopoulos in Almyros Acharavi’s of northern Corfu, carried out by H΄ EPKA during the years 2006-7, brought to light a laboratory installation in a building complex of the Late Archaic-Classical Era. The site is located on a sandy plain near the coast where until recently parts of a cemetery had been discovered. The purpose of the announcement is the interpretive approach of the findings which shed new light on our knowledge of the extent and the character of the settlement that developed in the wider area, and add new data on the production processes of goods and craft activity on the island.
