The central idea of this essay has to do with a research in progress about the role of the body within the musical creative process. The author of this paper grounds herself in a subjective, bodily "animated" experience, based on the intentionality of gesture, as felt, in the body, and that is mediated by an active hearing which favours the tactile sense, the proprioceptive intelligence, imagination and the emotions that enliven the sensitive experiences in the creative process.
