Choose how far in advance guests can book

Increasing your date availability may lead to more search activity and potential booking opportunities.. You have options too–you can choose to make your calendar available for 3, 6, 9, 12, or 24 months from today's date. For example, if you set your availability to only 3 months, a guest can only book up to 3 months from today.

How to choose your availability window

Set your availability window on desktop

  1. ClickCalendar and select the listing calendar you want to change
  2. Click Availability, then click Availability window
  3. Select how far in advance you want to allow booking
  4. Click Save


Allow guests to request bookings outside of your availability window

Have more flexibility in your schedule? If you use Instant Book, you may have the option to allow requests for bookings outside of your availability window. You won’t have to worry about guests using Instant Book for these dates.You have 24 hours to act on requests before they expire.

For bookings outside your availability window, make sure your availability and pricing is up-to-date. The price you set applies to all future nights, and you can edit your nightly price any time in your Calendar through Pricing.

If you do not want to enable this feature, you can turn it off anytime by updating your availability settings in your listing’s calendar. You can edit this option in your Calendar through Availability, and toggling Allow requests for dates outside your availability window.

Nights are automatically opened to maintain your availability window

You don’t have to worry about manually adjusting your calendar. Nights will automatically be made available so that the availability window you’ve chosen is always open. 

Nights you manually mark as open or blocked won’t be changed

Once you've marked specific nights as open or blocked on your calendar, those settings will stay the same, regardless of your availability window.
