Reviews for a group of guests
Booked a trip and want to know if everyone in the travel group can leave and receive a review? Here’s how reviews work when you invite other guests on your trip.
Host’s review will show on all guest profiles
Once your host writes a review for you, the same review will also be posted on the other guest profile(s) if they’ve accepted your invitation through Airbnb. If the other guests haven’t accepted the invitation, their profile won’t show the review.
The exception is for bookings that were made and guests that were invited before May 1st, 2024. For these bookings, guests weren't required to accept an invitation to be added to a trip—the host's review will only show on the profile of guests who accepted the trip invitation.
Which guests in a group can leave a review for the host
For stays, only the guest who booked the trip will be able to leave a review. For Experiences, all guests can leave a review.
How the host’s review will appear on guest profiles
The review will indicate that it was for a group trip and show the name of the guest who booked the reservation.
Removing a review for a group trip
If a review is showing on the booking guest’s profile, it can’t be hidden from the other guest profile(s). If you are the guest who booked, you can find out more about editing your review or making a review removal request.
Our community relies on honest, transparent reviews. Hosts and guests write reviews once the stay has ended. Here's info about how reviews work for stays.
We want you to feel confident that the reviews you read on Airbnb are accurate and free of external influences. Reviews are only helpful when reviewers accurately recount their experience and provide their honest opinions.
