Paying for your reservation using multiple payment methods
Let’s keep things simple. Multiple payment methods can’t be used when you’re booking a reservation and paying for it in full.
The exceptions are when:
You’re paying part of the cost with a coupon, gift card, or travel credit
You book a monthly stay or pay using an Airbnb payment plan—for these reservations, you can always change your payment method for future scheduled payments
If you’re paying for your reservation in full
You can’t split the total cost of your Airbnb stay or experience across multiple payment methods. For example, you can’t pay using 2 different credit cards, or pay using a credit card and Paypal.
If you’re booking a monthly stay or using a payment plan to pay
Coupons, gift cards, and travel credit can be used with another payment method
If you have a coupon, gift card, or travel credit that covers part of the cost of your reservation, you’ll use another payment method for the remaining cost.
You'll pay for part of your reservation upon booking confirmation, and future payments will be deducted automatically on the dates listed on the checkout page.
If your reservation is confirmed and paid for in full, you can’t change the payment method. If you have any scheduled future payments, you can change the payment method for an upcoming payment before it’s processed.
