Selecting bathroom privacy info
When it comes to bathrooms, guests expect the privacy of an interior lock or latch. But it is helpful if your Room listing is clear about if the bathroom is shared, dedicated, or private and attached. Guests can filter for private and attached bathrooms when searching for a Room.
How bathroom privacy is defined
Private and attached: The bathroom is for exclusive use by the guest. It is accessed directly via the bedroom (ex: an en-suite bathroom).
Dedicated: The bathroom is for exclusive use by the guest, but it is accessed via a shared space, like a hallway or living room.
Shared: The bathroom may be shared with other occupants of the house, for example, the Host or other guests.

Rooms are great for guests who prefer a little privacy, yet still want to meet someone new and experience the area like a local. Here are some things to consider before hosting a room.
Guests expect that they will have the option to lock their bedroom or any bathroom they can access. That's why we recommend hosts add locks to any bedrooms and bathrooms that guests may use.
