Publish your listing
Congrats! You’ve crafted an attractive listing and you’re ready to make your listing public in search results and on your profile – here’s how to get ready to host your first guests!
If you’re not quite ready for any enquiries or requests, that’s ok – you can update your listing status until you’re ready to host.
To activate your listing:
Activate your listing on desktop
- Click Listings and select the listing you want to edit
- Under Listing editor, click Your space
- Click Status
- Click Listed and then click List your place
Activate your listing in the Airbnb app
- Tap Profile
and then tap Switch to hosting 
- Tap Listings
and select the listing you want to edit - Under Listing editor, tap Your space
- Tap Status
- Tap Listed, and then tap List your place

- Under Listing editor, tap Your space
- Tap Status
- Tap Listed, and then tap List your place
Activate your listing on mobile browser
- Tap Listings and select the listing you want to edit
- Under Listing editor, tap Your space
- Tap Status
- Tap Listed and then tap List your place
How long it takes new listings to show up in search results
Once you change your status to Listed, it’s usually visible within 24 hours, but it may take up to 72 hours for this update to be reflected in search results.
