The granddaddy of the field. The person to which the most credit is due for bringing awareness on the topic. I have basically been following his work on accelerating change for almost 15 years and his work has strongly informed my worldview. I think more than anyone, and by far, he deserves most credit for bringing about the field to the public. Kurzweil's knowledge is encyclopedic, his arguments airtight, and his vision unparalleled. Mr. Kurzweil... we can't thank you enough for this work!!!!! your insights have been prophetic to say the absolute least!!!!!
